PINT in EESI report
Parallel-in-time integration was mentioned prominently in two reports by the European Exascale Software Initiative (EESI) last year.
- The report D 7.3 2015 Update Vision & Recommendation acknowledges parallel-in-time integration as a potentially disruptive approach and a fundamental step toward in Exascale Simulations.
- The D 3.3 Final report on applications working groups confirms this, attesting parallel-in-time integration a huge potential for a better exploration of future Exascale architectures. It cites our successful workshop series and mention scaling results published in 2013[1] for the PFASST using all 458,752 of the IBM BlueGene/Q JUQUEEN at Juelich Supercomputing Centre.
